When I was a kid I wanted to know lots of stuff about animals. One of my mom's favorite stories to tell about the six-year-old me is how I spent an hour cross-examining her one day trying to determine how parrots talk.

At the time I figured I liked animals, so I should pursue a career in animal training. I did this for a while, and it was pretty fun. A few years later I decided animal training is fun but I liked learning and discovering things, so I'd give science a go.

There's more to this, and I've also done lots of things unrelated to pursuing a career. I'll make a blurb here eventually. Until then, you can ask me: JardineNotSardine@gmail.com.
